- 134 dual processor quad core nodes (SunFire x4150), 16GB RAM per node, 2.83GHz clock speed.
- 816 cores available to all users. The remainder are available to specific participants.

- 2.83GHz Intel Xeon E5440 quad core processors.
Cache Specifications:
- L2: 6MB cache per processor.
Network Interconnect:
- Gigabit Ethernet on all nodes.
Storage:
- NFS (/users for user home directories)
- NFS (/projects for group allocations)
- Panasas PanFS (/shared.scratch parallel filesystem for temporary storage and job I/O).
- 100GB local storage on each node
