What is the password of my new account?

Introduction
When you login to a shared compute cluster for the first time, your default password will be the same as the password you used to apply for the account. However, this password is considered to be expired by default. The following instructions will describe what your first successful login should look like and how to change your expired password.
Expired Password
The first time you login to a shared compute cluster you will be informed that your password has expired. This is expected behavior and is necessary to ensure that all users have a password that is different than the default password. The dialog for the first login should look something like the following:
Password: # enter your default password here
Your password has expired. Choose a new password.
Enter login(LDAP) password: # enter your default password again
New password: # enter a new password
Re-enter new password: # re-enter the new password
LDAP password information changed for adauser

Some implementations of SSH will cause your session to logout at this point. If this occurs, simply login again using your new password.
