Earlier this morning (Saturday, Sep. 12) we experienced a crash of Ada's management node. This is the node that controls the job scheduling among other things. As of 10AM this morning the system has been recovered and appears to be functioning normally. If you had jobs running on Ada last night please check them to verify that they ran successfully or not.

The Ken Kennedy Institute is hosting an HPC Summer Workshop for external users and there will be a temporary reduction in the number of available nodes on ada starting Monday morning and continuing through Friday afternoon. We will keep these to the minimum required and the reserved pool will shrink and grow, but it will most likely be the largest on Tuesday, May 19th.
